Get Involved - Giving
There several ways in which you 'give' to help F.A.C.T. You can give
- your goodwill by helping us win the arguments
- your time to attend meetings or conferences, or to support people in Court
- by making a donation to our funds or by sponsoring our newsletter or special project
- by writing a letter or article for publication in our newsletter [FACTion]
- by lobbying or attending a vigil
- making yourself available to give interviews to the Press
- by telling us how you coped or achieved your victories so we can pass information onto others.
Future Plans
F.A.C.T. is intending to set up some special interests group so that individuals can exchange ideas with each other and help others in need of particualr advice. The following groups have been suggested
- Access to Records
- Employment Issues
- Child Protection Issues
- Prisons, Probation and Parole
F.A.C.T. would aslo like to extend its helpline facility and needs approximately 10 volunterrs with a telephone to achieve this. Individuals should be able to commit themselves to a morning, afternoon or evening session on any one day in seven.
